Frequently Asked Questions

Most people will complete the training in 4 weeks. The majority of tests and reading material are online, so you could move through the material quickly if you had no other priorities apart form the training, and you may complete the theoretical comonent in under 4 weeks. The assesments are also self-paced for the theoretical components.

Practical components are set at regular intervals (like once or twice a month) as these require in-person attendance and demonstration of the prinicples, strategies and techniques that were outlined in the theoretical components of the course. So you can complete the theoretical components well in advance of the practicial component if you wish, but the practical component and assessment is once a month (sometimes twice a month depending on class sizes etc).

Certification occurs after you have successfully completed assessments (Theory) and the practical components. You must pass both to gain certification.
